Please Note: Cavalli’s Rescue is a fully foster-based organization with limited intake capacity. We welcome placement assistance requests and may review them for direct rescue consideration, foster placement exploration, networking support, referrals, or resource guidance. Submission of a request does not guarantee intake or placement.

Before Submitting a Request
Please understand:
- Submission of a request does not guarantee intake, foster placement, adoption, or other assistance by Cavalli’s Rescue.
- As a fully foster-based rescue, our ability to accept a dog depends on available foster homes and resources, as well as the individual dog’s needs and our ability to provide appropriate care and containment.
- When direct intake is not possible, we may still be able to provide placement networking, rescue referrals, breed-specific resources, or other guidance.
- Please provide complete and accurate information. Medical, behavioral, ownership, and placement information helps us evaluate what assistance or options may be appropriate.
- If you are the dog’s current owner, you remain responsible for the dog’s care, safety, and placement unless and until a formal transfer of ownership has been completed.

What Happens Next?
Once your request is submitted:
1. We review the information provided.
2. We may contact you for additional information, photos, veterinary records, behavioral history, or other documentation.
3. We evaluate the dog’s individual needs along with available foster capacity, rescue resources, networking opportunities, and potential placement options.
4. If we can assist, we will contact you to discuss available options and next steps.
Response times may vary depending on request volume, urgency, and available volunteer capacity.
